What time is check-in/check-out?

Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at noon.

Do you offer room service? What are the hours?

While we don't offer room service, you can enjoy delicious take-out from our onsite restaurant, Jasper’s Corner Tap and Kitchen. Conveniently connected to Hotel Spero through the lobby, Jasper's offers online, in-person, and phone ordering options to suit your needs. Jasper’s is open daily from 7am to 9pm.

Do you have high-speed wired and/or wireless internet access available?

Wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel, and high-speed wired internet access is available in all guest rooms.

Do you have a fitness center?

Yes, we have an onsite 24-hour fitness center, featuring Precor equipment and 2 Peloton™ bikes.

I want to ship a package to arrive before or during my stay. Do you allow this?

Yes! We’re happy to accept packages for guests. Please send the package to Hotel Spero, Attention: (Guest’s Name), 405 Taylor St, San Francisco, CA 94102. If you’d like to let us know when the package is sent, we’ll be happy to make a note to keep an eye out for it. Please note that if the guest has already departed when the package arrives, we cannot hold it and will return the package to the sender.

Do you have a pool?

No, we do not have a pool at the hotel.

Do you allow smoking in the rooms or on the property?

No, Hotel Spero is a smoke-free establishment.

Do you have a business center?

Yes; the business center is open 24 hours a day.

Do you have a spa? What are the hours?

Hotel Spero does not have a spa. Our helpful concierge can point you toward a recommended nearby spa. Just ask at the concierge desk.

I booked on a website other than the hotel website and I need to make a change to my reservation. How do I do this?

You must go through the booking agent/website that you went through to change your reservation.

Do you provide rollaway beds or cribs? Is there a charge?

We don’t have any rollaway beds at Hotel Spero. Cribs are available and free of charge.

What is your cancellation/deposit policy?

We require a credit card at the time of booking. You must cancel at least 48 hours before arrival (3 pm local hotel time) to avoid a one-night room and tax to your card. Please note that for special rates, packages, and certain seasons, this policy is subject to change. A credit card deposit is required to check in, we are unable to accept cash deposits under any circumstances.

What is the minimum age requirement to check in to the room?

You must be 18 years of age with a valid ID to check in to the hotel.

Do you have connecting rooms?

Yes, we have some connecting rooms at the hotel. You may request connecting rooms when you reserve your rooms. However, they are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

Is my ID/passport and credit card/ debit card required at check-in?

We require the presentation of a valid government-issued identification and credit card or debit card at the time of check-in.

Do you have an early departure fee?

Yes, an early departure fee in the amount of up to one night’s room and tax may apply and is subject to change based on certain offers or packages.

Do you have accessible rooms?

Yes, we have accessible suites. These suites include roll-in showers with support bars.

Do you have on-site parking? Where is it located and how much does it cost?

If traveling with your vehicle, there are self-parking options near the hotel. We recommend using our loading zones in front of the hotel to unload your luggage before you park. The following is a list of nearby parking structures we recommend: Ace Parking 415 Taylor Garage, Mason O’Farrell Garage, and Hilton Union Square Garage. Fees and rates vary by location. Space is limited and on a first come first serve basis. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made here.

What is included in the Guest Amenities Fee?

Our Guest Amenities Fee includes a lot of value for our guests: Welcome gift at check-in; high-speed internet and Wi-Fi access; 24-hour access to the fitness center; unlimited access to co-working space and business center use for printing and scanning; access to water station in lobby and fitness center; freshly brewed coffee and tea in the lobby from 5:30 - 10am daily; choice of personalized room scent; One 10% off voucher for Jasper's Corner Tap & Kitchen. We are constantly adding to the benefits.

What are the hours of the restaurant/bar/lounge?

Jasper's Corner Tap & Kitchen is located on-site and opens daily from 7am until 9pm. Online ordering is available.

I have questions about my bill. Who do I call?

You can call the Hotel Spero general line at 866.951.5007 for any questions about your bill. Please ask for the accounting department.

Are pets allowed? Are there restrictions for weight, height, or type?

Yes, we are a pet-friendly hotel, and pets (dogs and cats only) are welcome at the hotel for a $75 fee. The fee includes dog or cat treats, use of a dog bed, a map of great places to walk your dog, and pet waste disposal bags. Please note that pets cannot be left unattended at the hotel. Plan to stay with your pet at all times. Pets must be leashed or in a carrier at all times while outside of your room. A signed pet agreement will be required upon check-in. Please call reservations at (800) 380-6852 and let them know you’ll be bringing your pet so a pet-friendly room can be assigned to you.

What forms of payment are accepted to pay for my room?

We accept all major credit cards/debit cards. When you check in to the hotel, we will hold the full room and tax total, plus a $75 hold per day for incidentals. These charges will be released from your account within 5 days after checkout. We do not accept checks. If you would like to check in to the hotel with cash, we will ask for the full payment of room charges, applicable taxes, and resort fee. In addition, we will require a security deposit. Your security deposit may be refunded after your room has been inspected upon your departure. A credit card deposit is required to check in, we are unable to accept cash deposits under any circumstances.

Do you have pet-free rooms for those with allergies?

Yes, we have designated pet-free rooms available upon request.
